We left San Francisco around 10am and headed south for Templeton, CA to visit our good friends Lisa and Keith Gilliss.

On the way, we used Yelp once again (driving on Highway 101) to scout out Mexican restaurants….and once again we found a great hole-in-the-wall, Taqueria Hidalgo [note: I was researching Hidalgo to come up with something witty to say but the only thing I got out of the exercise was that there is a Hidalgo, Kentucky…..who knew?  I think the food was actually a little better than the first off the highway Mexican place we stopped at and we loved that one.

We arrived in Templeton around 5 and met Keith and Lisa at McPhee’s Grill….

After dinner we went over to Lisa and Keith’s beautiful home and we neglected to take any photos…..and there were memorable moments that we spent with Lisa and Keith and their sons Brandon and Michael…..I was so disappointed that we didn’t document Camille’s daredevil antics on the hoverboard (she was much better than Greg, no doubt due to her intense pilates regimen she goes through each week).  We asked Keith to send us a photo of their wonderful family which appears below…..
